Harare: Pakistan took full control of the second day of the second Test match played against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on Saturday, beating the home team with a ball and a ball to take a 2–0 lead in the series.
In reply to 510 out of eight matches declared by Pakistan, Zimbabwe is 52 years old, 458 runs behind four closures.
Opener Abid Ali scored 215 and it did not come out, while Nauman Ali was dismissed for 97.
Zimbabwe had a poor start when 36-year-old Tabish Khan bowed before scoring a goal. He took a bath on Friday after suffering a serious injury to his left knee while wearing short leg.
In the first Test of Zimbabwe's innings, Kia hit a hat-trick of 48 runs and lost the two-match series by 116 runs. He did not return to the ground and was tightly tied to the side of the boundary on Saturday.
Zimbabwe has joined the tournament to bring back the memory of three key players due to injury.
Zimbabwean bowlers struggled well until lunch on Saturday, but in the afternoon Abid and Nauman scored 169 runs for the eighth wicket in 199 overs.
Nauman 93 will not be included in the tea. He hit a four off the first ball, but the left-handed leopard put his feet behind Cicero.
Wicket-keeper Regis Sakwa, who immediately responded to bail, confirmed that Nauman had gone to a TV match.
He scored 104 runs with the help of five sixes and nine fours.
After taking the first 150 and scoring several runs in the back or wicket square, Abid took some great shots in the afternoon.
Abid faced 29 goals, scoring 407 runs in 174 Tests against Sri Lanka in 2019/20 in Karachi.
Tabish, who has taken 598 wickets in 137 first-team matches, shared the new ball with Shaheen Shah Afridi, who opened the innings.
Tabesh dismissed Theresa Masakanda from the series of offline innings and covered the batsman's leg in front of the wicket with the entire ball coming again.
Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, off-spinner Sajid Khan took all wickets, while Regis Chakkava, who scored 28, was the only batsman to score twice.
